The clocking specialist PETERMANN-TECHNIK from Landsberg/Lech presents high-performance, low-cost MINI SMD crystals in a wide array of very small casings for portable applications. These crystals are available in the following ceramic casings: 1.6 x 1.2 x 0.3 mm (SMD01612/4 series), 2.0 x 1.6 x 0.45 mm (SMD02016/4 series), 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.6 mm (SMD02502/4 series) and 3.2 x 2.5 x 0.6 mm (SMD03025/4 series). All crystals can be supplied in an extended temperature range of up to -40/+125 °C and with frequency tolerances at 25°C from ±8 ppm. The temperature stability can be selected within a range from +-8ppm over 0/+70 °C to +-50 ppm over -40/+125 °C. This allows even narrow-band radio modules to be produced. If MINI SMD crystals with 32.768 kHz are also used, PETERMANN-TECHNIK’s product range includes cost-effective solutions in the following ceramic casings: 3.2 x 1.5 x 0.8 mm (M3215 series), 2.0 x 1.2 x 0.55 mm (M2015 series) and 1.6 x 1.0 x 0.45 mm (SM1610 series). The standard frequency tolerance of 32.768 kHz crystals at 25 °C is +-20 ppm. +-10 ppm versions can also be supplied on request. The standard temperature range for all 32.768 kHz crystals is -40/+85 °C. Versions with a range of up to -40/+125 °C are also available on request. The service portfolio of the specialists at PETERMANN-TECHNIK also includes circuit development, analyses, simulations and matching tests. “Everything from one source” is the philosophy at PETERMANN-TECHNIK, which aims to offer the customer an extremely short time to market.
